The Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Kenya has on 31st March 2022 launched a new Call for Proposals “Strengthening Kenyan civil society organizations as actors of good governance and development” with deadline for submission of Concept Notes on 16th May, 2022 at 12.00hrs Brussels date and time. Civil society organisations are eligible to apply.

The Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Kenya is seeking proposals for projects to strengthen Kenyan civil society actors as independent actors of good governance and development and to promote inclusive and safe participation of Kenyan citizens, both offline and online. The call has 3 slots:
Lot 1: Community-Based and Grassroots Organisations as actors of governance and development
Lot 2: Women’s rights and youth organisations as lead actors in preventing and responding to Gender-based violence
Lot 3: Civil society as accountability actors in the fight against corruption and impunity
Successful projects will be funded with financial assistance from the European Commission NDICI CSO 2021 budget Support to Civil Society in Partner Countries (Lot1-2) and the Programme for Legal Empowerment and Aid Delivery (PLEAD) (Lot 3).
