In line with the government’s ambitious plan to plant 15 billion trees by 2032, we should join in those efforts to help the government plant at least 1.5 billion tree seedlings every year. According to that ambitious plan by the Kenya Kwanza government, every Kenyan should plant at least 300 trees.
The government was forced to embark on this audacious vision due to a series of repeated failed rainfalls as expected. This led to repeated cycles of drought and famine that have led to the death of both people and animals while plunging millions of others into hunger and starvation.
As you celebrate this Christmas, plant a tree and prevent the vicious cycle of drought and famine.
